Tom began attending Calvary Chapel Eastside in 1985.  Fast forward after Covid, Tom and his wife Mary returned back to Calvary Chapel in 2021.  Tom was brought up in a small church in Issaquah and became a born again Christian in 1971.  He has lived in the Eastside for most of his life.  

As a contract electrical engineer with a degree from the University of Washington, Tom has worked with many companies around the world designing and engineering various electronic projects.  He is now moving in the direction of retirement.  Tom also enjoys fishing, boating, swimming, biking and aviation.

One of Tom’s favorite verses comes from the Book of Titus where Paul tells Titus “Promote the kind of living that reflects Sound Doctrine.”  Tom loves to dig deep into scripture in order to translate it into living a life that is pleasing to God.
