STOP THE SCAMMERS

ARE YOU SEEING AN INCREASE IN suspicious email?

From time to time, criminals trolling the Internet create an email address using a pastor's name to try and fleece the flock.

Calvary Chapel Eastside wants you and your resources to remain safe. A few of our members have reported sightings of spam and phishing email messages.

Please know that no Calvary Chapel Eastside pastor, nor any member of the CCE pastoral staff or ministry team will ever ask you for favors, such as a request to send funds or gift cards in any form.

Also, legitimate CCE email addresses always end with one of the following CCE domains: calvarychapeleastside.com or cceastside.com

If you receive a suspicious email or text message, report it.  The information you give can help fight fraud.

Step 1. If you receive a phishing email message, forward it to the Anti-Phishing Working Group at reportphishing@apwg.org

If you receive a phishing text message, forward it to SPAM (7726). Learn more about the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG)!
