Celebrate Advent with us!

The word “advent” means the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event. During the Christmas season, the arrival we are celebrating is that of Jesus coming into our world! We would love for you and your family to join us during the month of December as we rejoice in the coming of Jesus together.

We will also have a special presentation of “Nativity on the Square” by Taproot Theatre this Sunday morning.

Nativity on the Square tells the story of statues in the downtown nativity scene have come to life, but don’t know what they’re doing or exactly who they are. When a drunken, homeless woman invades their Christmas crèche her interpretation of the nativity story irritates and reorients the statues. Laugh along with familiar characters in this Christmas comedy about forgiveness, selflessness and the joy of giving. Nativity on the Square is written by Tom S. Long and directed by J. Michael Tumblin.
