Missionary to Central America, Africa, & Asia: Kris Repp
Kris Repp has been a missionary for 20 years— first leaving her home in 1995 to minister to the people of Honduras. Since then, Kris has traveled many roads leading through Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas sharing the love of Jesus while using her skills as a nurse to minister to those in need.
Kris writes of her experiences as a missionary after 15 years:
"I know that the apostle Paul knew the secret when he wrote in Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.' Looking back on 15 years of full-time foreign mission work, I know that my strength has come from Christ alone. It is that strength that has transformed my life. It is His spirit that fills me with His love, joy and peace…and compels me to love Him in return. For me, this has meant leaving my home to follow the God that promises to never leave me. It has meant putting my trust in Him instead of trusting the things I can see. It has meant letting go and letting Him take me to places I have never been or could ever imagine. I suppose it has meant taking a risk…the risk that my faith is real and that it works."
