Jacy grew up in Southern California and found Christ when he was a freshman in college in Huntington Beach. He was deeply influenced by Calvary Chapel founder, Chuck Smith, as he attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He was also greatly influenced by Greg Laurie and sat under his teachings during his formative years as a new believer.

Jacy graduated from Bible college in 2001 with a degree in Biblical Studies. After college, Jacy went straight into full time ministry as a youth pastor in Seabeck, Washington. Over the next six years, Jacy filled many different ministry roles, including youth, college, and senior pastor.

Jacy spent the next 14 years working in law enforcement. Most of that time was spent in the Snohomish County Jail. During this time, he took great joy in modeling Christ and sharing the Gospel with the incarcerated. After 14 years in the jail, he started a new job as the Dean of Students at Summit Classical Christian School. It was there when the Lord reignited and renewed his passion for church ministry.

Jacy and his wife, Nikita, have been happily married since 2001, and their son, Thomas, is at Boyce College in Kentucky.
