Robert Case graduated from the University of Washington in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. During and after Robert's college years, he was immersed in the music scene playing in nightclubs throughout the Western United States and Canada.
The emptiness of such a pleasure-seeking lifestyle caused him to consider the greater purposes of God and His plan of salvation. In 1977, he put his faith in Jesus Christ but it wasn't until the dawn of 1980 that he heeded the call to full-time ministry.
For the next 10 years he traveled throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia with the Robert Case Band singing and preaching the gospel of grace. During that time they produced praise/worship albums in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Russian. In 1990 he joined the pastoral staff of Calvary Fellowship, Seattle where he served for 7 years overseeing such ministries as the School of Discipleship, Worship, Missions, and Media (books & radio). On December 1, 1996 he joyfully assumed the pastorate at Calvary Chapel Eastside.
Robert has been very happily married to Kim since 1984 and together have become the proud parents of Allison, Ian and Austen.
Merlyn Linden has lived on the Eastside of Seattle all of his life and since 1990, with his wife Lisa and two kids, Nathan and Lindsey. At a young age, God brought him to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As a young man, Merlyn began to serve God in his local church, from Sunday School teacher to youth ministry and board member.
Merlyn was hired as the executive pastor at Calvary Chapel Eastside in 1999. He loves to disciple men, outreach to the community, has been on dozens of mission trips, and cares for the multiple needs of those who attend CCE in various ways as the Lord, and the senior pastor, Robert, directs.
The verse he quotes most often is Hebrews 10:24 “...and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds.”
Mike Monjay is one of the Associate pastors at CCE and a native to the PNW. He was forever changed by God’s love when he was 10 years old at a Christian summer camp in Montana, and there made a decision to follow Christ. He received pastoral training from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California where he also met his wife Nichole. After Bible College, Mike and Nichole worked at Calvary, The Bridge, in Palm Springs, California before moving to the Seattle area in 2002. Mike and Nichole have been serving at CCE ever since.
Mike and Nichole have the great joy and honor of raising their son, Noble Zane Monjay, and seeing the love of God radically touch every area of their lives.
Dave came to know and follow Christ at the age of 22. He has been attending CCE and serving in youth ministry since 1998. In 2014, he was hired full time as an associate pastor. He has a passion for young people and for missions.
Sue has been a Christian since she was a young child, never having had a "conversion" experience, just always loving her Jesus. Her second love has been kids, and sharing her First Love with them. It's been Sue's great desire to find and teach in a creative and entertaining way that excites kids to know more about their Creator & Savior. She loves using attention-grabbing illusions, storytelling, visual media and puppets to minister to kids.
She has been involved in teaching children since 1987. Sue began as a Sunday School teacher when her own kids were very young because there was a need. She firmly believes that if God shows you a need, He wants you to fill it. It's important to her that our kids know they can serve Him right now, they can have an impact for the kingdom and don't need to wait until they are grown ups. So it is her objective to provide opportunities for them to use their gifts and talents at their ripe young age. How glorious to be a participant in His great plan!
Katie came on staff as the Office Administrator at Calvary Chapel Eastside in 2013. She attended Bible College at the Calvary Chapel Bible College extension campus in Mountlake Terrace for two years. In addition to serving in the office, Katie handles graphic design and social media for CCE. For her, it is a joy to be able to combine working in ministry with creativity on a regular basis.
She and her husband, Brendan, are both from the Northwest and love to play music in their spare time.
Kim is an avid reader, crafter, and party planner. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's degree in counseling, but she loves teaching the Bible and being present with and for others. She couldn't live without Jesus.

Dan was raised in Central Montana as a typical "church going" boy and after high school attended the Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle being inspired to do so by witnessing the conversation of his older sister and brother when they each attended LBI.
Dan dedicated his life to Christ at the age of 18 while attending LBI. Having grown up being an active musician, he was naturally drawn into full-time music ministry for 9 years traveling worldwide working with many organizations and performing at churches, military bases, colleges, high schools, prisons, etc., which is where he met his wife Mili when she joined the group. This musical background set the stage for them to be a worship leaders here at CCE.
Dan's desire for members of CCE, or any congregation, is that worship would become a direct and personal response to God in a musical setting... that the lyrics to the worship songs would be more than just words on an overhead screen but would become an individual's heart cry to the Father.
Dan and his wife Mili have been married since 1975, live in Kirkland, WA and have raised two daughters who also love Jesus. They have been members of CCE since 1999.
